37th HKIFF honours filmmakers with nine awards in five competitions

At the Awards Gala at Hong Kong Cultural Centre last night, the 37th Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) revealed the winning films for five award categories, namely the Young Cinema Competition, the Documentary Competition, the Short Film Competition, the FIPRESCI Prize and the SIGNIS Award.

Free screening of The Private Eyes

Our special initiative Community Screenings will present a free screening of The Private Eyes on 26 March, with seats available for the general public. There’s no need to register – just arrive early and queue up at the theatre.

Our special initiative “Community Screenings” will present a free show of hotly discussed films No and Linsanity! All full-time students of local tertiary institutions are welcome to attend by simply presenting their student card on the day of the screening. Seats will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
